It is interesting to see optimistic projections by IMF of 6% World GDP growth in 2021 and 4.9% GDP growth in 2022 mostly driven by sizeable fiscal support of $4.6 trillion of announced pandemic related measures in the US and the Euro.
Key downside risks though:
So what do you think :
Is the growth rate too optimistic ?
Do we see another wave of pandemic hitting us ?
Or vaccinations and fiscal stimulus will help us navigate the pandemic smoothly and we may even over achieve these growth rates ?
