Let me introduce you to one hefty little helper for any digital advertiser, our very own Dynamic Content Generator (DCG) - The name reflects the aim! Our new tool makes existing advertising media such as online banners more dynamic and thus makes it possible to convey exactly the right advertising message to the target group and context, while also enabling our clients to react quickly to unforeseeable events or opportunities. The DCG generates the right advertising message, and it replaces elaborate manual creations and controls and shortens lead times in the interplay of creation and media, while of course also allowing custom creation of the right message!
As with my previous post I will continue along the lines of helping to bring creative, media and data together. Specifically in that regard is the DCG a powerful tool, since it is taking different useful channels and conditions into account, while picking-up different audiences with the right needs and correct approach.
For example: When a female target group is reached, the message can be a completely different individualized, in comparison to the male counterpart. With this specially designed tool, we also want to point to the growing significance of collaboration between creation and media already during campaign planning and we see it as a valuable supplement on the way there!
In order to be able to set the touchpoints of the DCG correctly and efficiently, it is imperative that the channels and tech of the media strategy is known in both these disciplines.
As mentioned in my last blog ?Campaign Creation & Programmatic Media - Efficiency without silo obstacles“, creative performance and media buying are often done by different agencies. But even if the close cooperation of traditional rather autonomous parties may be a process, it is nevertheless an important element of change!
For example: If TV ads are simply cut and made suitable for social media, that means a missed opportunity to score points in the Programmatic media mix. The success of a campaign stands and falls with the right communication of the media strategy. When planning an elaborate video shoot, for example, it should be taken into consideration at an early stage that online advertising with its specific requirements and advantages should possibly be part of the campaign. In this case, not only TV, but also video sets for dynamic online advertising can be shot during production.
