Eco-Friendly Eid ul Adha in Pakistan..!!

Eid is a festival of Muslims that is celebrated all over the world. Eid-ul-Adha is also known as the festival of sacrifice and sacrifice feast. Eid- ul- Adha is celebrated on the tenth day of Dhuj Hijja, the Islamic month according to the lunar Islamic calendar. Eid- ul- Adha occurs approximately seventy days after the end of Ramadan month.

Muslims all over the globe perform qurbani/sacrifice of animals according to their  financial background. Same goes for my beloved country Pakistan. People start the day with Eid prayers and than animal sacrificial process kicks off.

One thing which every body including me has noticed is that people just don't care to properly dispose off the remain of sacrificial animals. Instead of packing the remain in the bag provided by Cantonment Board authorities and handing over them accordingly in the evening, they just concentrate on the meat and forget about the remain. Remain of sacrificial animal lie their hidden in the bushes and cause an unbearable fetid to the surrounding habitats.

Our religion Islam teaches us that cleanliness/tidiness is the half "Imaan". Every single Muslim is bound to practice this. It is our core responsibility to keep our environment clean and pure.

Love your environment and keep your country clean. This is not the sole responsibility of government, we need to take it personally.
