Eco City

I've been studying eco-villages for a long time and while they have some great ideas, I noticed that they're missing some elements of city life. I thought it would be great to add some urban amenities, like luxury apartments, places to work, dine, see a show, and go shopping, to make it a more balanced and sustainable living environment. Instead of a sprawling city, I came up with a vision of packing all of these elements into 3-5 buildings that are less than 15 stories tall. I combined this with a typical eco-village concept, and voila! The idea of an "Eco-City" was born. It's a new type of community that promotes environmental sustainability while also providing the conveniences and luxuries of urban living.
