Thank you for a successful TechX 2024!
TechX was an opportunity to discuss the Ethical Considerations of New Technology and was a huge success.? Over 17-19 April, the virtual conference explored the ethical dimensions of technology through 13 sessions, two recruitment fairs, and three networking sessions.?
Three exciting KEYNOTE speakers captivated us, Dr. Karen Panetta’s “The Eye of A.I.” revealed her personal research in accuracy and reliability of AI and its link to imagery sensor data. Our second KEYNOTE, “No borders – finding your home in IEEE Technical Activities”, where Technical Activities’ Fred Schindler discusses all the different societies within IEEE to see if there’s one that may align with your interests. Our last KEYNOTE featured Sandra Magnus, former NASA Astronaut as she told us about her illustrious career and insights on aerospace engineering.? Other sessions topics included “AI for Good: A Framework for Building Ethical AI Solutions”, “Innovating Responsibly: Ethical Insights into Automation within Construction Engineering”, and more.?
Thank you to all of the speakers and sponsors who made this event possible! Together, we navigated complex discussions and envisioned a future of responsible innovation. Here's to continuing this vital conversation!?
If you registered for TechX and missed any sessions, they are still available for replay in the Airmeet platform. We will be uploading conference sessions shortly, subscribe to our YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@IEEE-HKN
