Sarah's Message: Urgent! Potential error in email to client CEO. Its high time, you should write your resignation now.
John: (bewildered) What? (replies hurriedly) I just arrived at another client location and have a presentation.
John looks around, noticing curious glances from the receptionist and other employees passing by.

John: (forces a smile) Yes, just some work stuff. Thanks.
John walks briskly towards the elevators, mind racing with questions and confusion.

The elevator doors open, and John steps out onto the client's floor. He heads towards his meeting room, trying to compose himself.
John: (thinking) I'll just go in, handle the meeting, and sort this out later.
Just then, John's phone buzzes again. It's Sarah.
Ping! A message from another Leader Bill There's been a mistake, John but it wasn't your fault.
John: (confused) Whose fault was it then?

How did you calm yourself?
Did you resign after this?

7 个月The irony is that both these acts are so true and everyday one or the other employee goes through this though the intensity and scale might be different. Agreed that errors of such scale cause widespread chaos, but at the end of the day you need a motivated workforce to bail you out.Usimg extreme measures at the drop of hat only makes things worse.
