ECHA Finds Chemicals of Concern in Children's Products
In a report likely to catch attention in the U.S., the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) found metals, phthalates, bisphenols, PFAS and other chemicals classified in Europe as causing cancer, genetic mutations or harming reproduction are present in wide rage of childcare products, such as car seats, bibs and baby changing mats.?The report will be sent to the European Commission as it prepares a draft REACH restriction proposal.
