Google's chief internet evangelist says 'privacy may actually be an anomaly'
According to Vint Cerf, the sense of privacy arose with the industrial revolution and urbanisation, which created anonymity. He thinks achieving privacy will become increasingly difficult, especially in the age of social media, although we will ultimately face a movement of privacy awareness and respect.?

Slack under attack over sneaky AI training policy
Slack users are upset over the platform's use of their data to train AI services without explicit consent. Slack's policy automatically opts users in for data usage unless they email to opt out, being an outdated privacy policy. The platform is using customer data to train "global models" for features like recommendations and search, but not for Slack AI.
