EC-1031M-2 - Easy To Use, Versatile Potting Compound

EpoxySet produces the EC-1031M-2, a 1:1 mix, epoxy potting and encapsulating compound for electronics as well as motors, coils, transformers, pumps, amplifiers, switches and many other small components. High dielectric system that provides electronic insulation and protection to safeguard even the most sensitive high tech circuitry.  Ued in outdoor and underwater applications with excellent resistance to moisture, heat and other environmental conditions.

Formulated to be machinable with standard cutting tools, the EC-1031M-2 is a medium viscosity compound that cures to a strong, tough polymer. With a 3-4 hour work time that can be cured overnight or faster with mild heat, this epoxy is capable of potting to thickness up to about 1 inch. It provides low stress and is good for temperature cycling applications from -55 to 125°C. 

 The EC-1031M-2 is readily available in quart, gallon and pail kits with a lead time of 2 weeks.
