GJC Success Stories: Building futures with welding.

Success stories from the Good Jobs Challenge.?

Our Good Jobs Challenge grant (GJC) is shaping careers and filling workforce needs. Through a partnership between North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) and CNH , participants are not only gaining valuable welding skills but are also finding opportunities with a leading employer. The program trains aspiring welders through NDSCS’s welding curriculum, preparing them for recruitment into CNH’s workforce upon graduation.??

Last Thursday morning, attendees had the opportunity to see Fargo Ergonomics, Norse Technology and Positive Energy LLC take center stage, sharing their unique stories, services and innovations.

The October Member Mingle was another remarkable event, where the energy in the room was driven by the innovative ideas of these featured businesses. Members connected, exchanged strategies and brainstormed ways to elevate not just their own ventures but also the broader business community. By making these connections, we create a support system that empowers small businesses to thrive.

Fueled by delicious coffee and donuts from Sandy's Donuts & Coffee Shop , the morning was a perfect blend of networking and inspiration. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and especially to Fargo Ergonomics ,Norse Technology and Positive Energy LLC for showcasing the incredible work you do. Leadership FMWF pushes boundaries to build trust!

Another session is in the books, and what a transformative experience it was!??

In September, the Leadership Fargo Moorhead West Fargo (Leadership FMWF) class participated in the traditional trip to the Character Challenge Course Company (C4) in Park Rapids, Minnesota. This was an adventure dedicated to discovering more about peers and the strength that lies in collective trust and vulnerability.?

Participants pushed past boundaries, and reinforced the core leadership pillars of growth, connection and action that will guide them in creating lasting impact for themselves and the region. The collective trust built during the day will serve as the foundation for the months ahead. Trust is instrumental as the class tackles Community Change Initiatives, explores area projects and deepens their engagement with the FMWF community.
