The State of North Dakota wants to assist your business with funding internships
Internships provide a valuable way for students to make connections with businesses and identify career options in North Dakota. Operation Intern is designed to expand the number of internships, work experience and apprenticeship positions with North Dakota employers.
The program’s primary focus is employers in the state’s targeted industries: energy, advanced manufacturing, value-added agriculture, tourism and technology-based businesses, and healthcare.?
North Dakota businesses receive up to $4,000 in matching funds for internships/apprenticeships. Funding can be used for items needed for the intern/apprentice to perform their internships, like wages, tools and equipment, essential training or tuition reimbursement. The funding is a one-to-one match.
The next funding window for this program opens February 1, 2024 - so be sure to check it and fill out an application!
Supporting people and creating community
Dedicated to affirming human worth, rights and dignity
Think about how easily you may live, work, shop, eat out and enjoy entertainment. With the support of our community, the Red River Human Services Foundation (RRHSF) can help make a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities - helping them to experience those same everyday activities independently.
Read the article in our January-February edition of The Bridge magazine to learn more about RRHSF and how they support individuals with disabilities, enhancing their lives and enabling them to live, work and develop relationships within their communities.
Consider giving to RRHSF this Giving Hearts Day and supporting their mission. Online donations are now being accepted and will be processed on February 9, 2024. Learn more
