The state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to producing standardized power modules, known as EPODs, which significantly reduce the construction time for data centres.

The new NordicEPOD factory, spanning 12,000 square meters, can manufacture up to 350 EPODs annually. These power modules integrate Eaton's cutting-edge technology, including the EnergyAware Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), which enhances energy efficiency and supports renewable energy adoption.

EPODs: Meeting the Growing Demand for Data Centres

The EPODs are designed to provide up to 2MW of electrical power and include critical components such as Eaton’s UPS systems, transformers, and medium-voltage ring main units (RMUs).
