Eating the rainbow

As a practitioner and researcher working in the field of nutrition, gut health and brain health, I frequently get asked about what kind of food I eat to keep my gut bugs diverse and happy and my brain engaged and productive. I'm not one to post photos of my meals, but as I received my food delivery for the week, I thought this was a good opportunity to share what my week’s shop looked like. 

I’m in the middle of a stressful house move, so food really is my rock and I rely on eating the rainbow to keep my gut and my brain vital through this period of uncertainty. If you're unfamiliar with the concept of "eating by colour" you may enjoy reading these blog posts written by my colleague Leigh-Ann Stewart.
