What foods increase female fertility?
As we come into the warmer Summer months we start thinking about and are more likely to be craving the healthier side of our diets. Some of these foods may also increase your chances of getting pregnant as they are packed with fertility-boosting nutrients. If you are lucky enough to have a sizable garden you can even grow your own!
There are some foods that can really help boost your female fertility. For example, studies have shown that eating foods rich in vitamin D like beef, liver and salmon can increase your chances of getting pregnant. Bananas, too, contain the right amount of nutrients that could increase your egg quality, according to the Infertility Network Association.
As you search for ways to improve your fertility, there are many misconceptions about which foods and nutrients should be avoided. In fact, there are several foods that women consume daily that are high in vitamins, minerals, and micronutrients that work together to provide a supportive environment for healthy ovulation and optimal pregnancy.
Fertility is affected by a wide range of factors and healthy living. To increase your fertility, include foods like kale, avocado, beets, sweet potatoes, and red peppers in your diet.
