"They eat the dogs, they eat the cats" -Unauthorized immigrants to the US

"They eat the dogs, they eat the cats". Donald Trump's populism for electoral purposes is obvious. The discussion about US immigration is of cause a legitimate one and at least what I could find out from the Pew research center confirms indeed that the influx from the Caribbean has accelerated under the Biden/Harris administration. For other immigration sources it has been steady, and mainly for Mexicans, unauthorized immigration has been declined over the years.

Their statistical analysis is quite detailed and here is the evaluation of their stats for the Caribbean, of which Haiti is a part of.

Of course this is only a fraction of the data, and it's estimates with a quite large error margin as by definition no consistent official counts can exist, but the following may be true:

1. Trump is partially right pointing out that immigration accelerated under Biden/Harris
2. The democrats seem to use immigration as a way to get new voters in the short and medium term
3. Some of immigrants may eat cats or dogs, but some of the "authorized" us citizens may do it as well ;-)
