EAT THE COOKIE

What if I told you that having that cookie or enjoying a cocktail is not only okay but actually beneficial to have sometimes??

As a health coach, my aim has always been: to have people feel like they’re in control of their health and empowered to take the necessary action.

Through my signature coaching program, my goal is to empower you to live your best, most energetic and productive life, lose a few lbs. in the process and do the things you used to without having to stare at the number on the scale.

Diet Culture Doesn’t Work?

Some people have been on hundreds of diets, and they are in a more unhealthy state than when they first began their journey.?

Some things I learned on my personal health journey:

  • There is no need to be dogmatic about your diet. Sometimes you can give yourself permission to enjoy the cookie, chocolate and birthday cake. Once you finish, simply return to the way you existed before.

  • You can’t solve deep problems in a couple of weeks. But you can build awareness and lay a solid foundation to improve your health.?

  • If you jump too far out of your comfort zone, do too much too fast, your nervous system will think it’s unsafe and dangerous. Your efforts may backfire and will not be sustainable.

  • When you do just one tweak a week, your new lifestyle will get built slowly over time.

According to the World Health Organization, 90-95% of disease, including cancer are due to diet and lifestyle.?Unfortunately, much of society doesn’t believe that lifestyle choices cause chronic disease. Only 5-10% of all cancers are genetic. You have more control over your health outcomes than you’ve been led to believe.

I believe that health is the foundation for change. By employing my Habit Change Method, providing curated, relevant information and using various coaching modalities, I facilitate habit change that get results.
