The easy way to get rid of Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD)

The easy way to get rid of Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD)

It's no secret that I am a big fan of Dr David Muss, author of the book The Trauma Trap and innovator or the Rewind technique for PTSD. So I was pleased to receive my latest copy of the BACP professional journal and see he is advertising his Rewind workshops there.

He now charges £60 instead of giving the training for free as he did before. I understand the reasons. He only wants people who are really serious about integrating the intervention into their professional toolbox.

As a consequence Rewind will become more widely used and more and more evidence will be gathered that it works better and faster than EMDR and is simpler to perform.

This is good news for those of us who have been using the technique for years and know how effective it can be.

Finally the establishment will not be able to ignore what has been staring them in the face for decades and the people who need swift resolution of distressing PTSD symptoms will hopefully get the treatment they need on the NHS, saving the lives of sufferer, saving families, relationships and keeping people in work and thriving instead of suffering the domino effects of complete breakdown that can be a consequence of trauma.

More power to your elbow David...you are an enigma, super focused and one of my professional heros.

Rewind is such an important intervention that I have included in the NCFE accredited Fusion Therapeutic Coaching Diploma programme. I am now also determined to update my book PTSD Resolution: Reclaiming life from trauma and include more Rewind case studies.

Please contact me direct at [email protected] if you want to contribute.
