Easy to use Excel (*.xlsx) based pressure drop/source pressure calculator - for fire fighting system.

I have created an excel worksheet (File Size: 300KB / Compatible with Excel 2007 - 2017) specifically for firefighting system piping design which basically calculates pressure drop in system piping, and how much pressure required at the source to satisfy system demand. In addition, it also tells you the velocity of water flow.

This calculator is divided into two sections, first one is suitable for Steel Pipe (S40) and the second one is suitable for High-Density Polyethylene Pipe (SDR7.5/SDR9/SDR11).

As like paid software, on basis of your inputs, this calculator will consider the actual internal diameter of pipe than the nominal dia, and also precisely calculate and utilize the equivalent length of fittings and valves.

Please be noted that the pipe size and type of pipe which are being used in this calculator is based on UAE requirement only.
