Easy tool to achieve anything in life.

We always know what we are supposed to do to achieve whatever we want.

Confusing?

Let me give you an example.

Imagine A person has weight gaining issues. He has developed a beer belly and wants to get rid of that. Who is not?

Now, How to reduce weight? is no longer any secret.

If I were to ask you for a suggestion on how to reduce weight? What suggestion you will give.

  • Maybe to exercise regularly, 
  • eat specific foods/diet, 
  • change in lifestyle.

The point I am trying to make is, We always know what we are supposed to do to reduce weight.

The small amount of time over the internet can give you plenty of information within a few clicks.

If we know or have such information why we are still gaining weight? 

Let us take another example.

Someone wants to start a business and have a fantastic idea,

This idea is there for many years and counting.

For him, this idea remains in thoughts and daydreams only.

He may have started with something and failed to continue.

Some of you may answer. We simply fail to continue what we initiated.

How can we achieve what we wanted and even know the solution?

The answer is handy, I came across the daily question spreadsheet by Marshall Goldsmith.

The process is simple.

We all use the to-do list or checklist at work or for shopping. We all take follow up and been followed up by someone.

Have you noticed we tend to finish the task we are most followed up with?

What if we combine the power of to-do list, checklist and followup in personal life as well.

Try this.

Step 1 - Make a list of activities You should be doing but not doing regularly.

Step 2 - Now prepare a Checklist of Most important activities to you and you want to do regularly.

Step 3 - Prepare a nice document and print it.

Step 4 - Find a friend or family member who will take your follow up on this checklist on one fixed time every day.

Step 5- Do a weekly assessment, make changes if required and repeat.

Word of caution.

The role of a friend or family member is simple, he/she has to just ask the items mentioned in the checklist.

Do not go into justifying or making excuses. if you have not done it you have not done it - that day simple.

Why this system should work?

  • This system is simple and easy to follow.
  • This will work as a daily reminder without any annoying force.
  • You get to choose what you want to do. No one else is deciding it for you.
