An easy journey into the cloud

IP Dimension recently announced that they will be hosting a webinar on "Simplifying your cloud journey" in partnership with First Distribution and Amazon Web Services. The aim of the webinar is to discuss aspects of cloud that often leads business owners to further stress their current infrastructure and "brave the storm" for a bit longer.

In a pre-webinar discussion with panelists Cornel van der Westhuizen and Riaan Lombard, they were very clear about the intent of the webinar: "We find that there are many business owners that are considering moving their tin into the cloud, but they simply do not know where to start. With this webinar, we will firstly address some of the most common myths surrounding cloud causing concern in the industry, and secondly show our audience just how quick and easy it is to start your first cloud server." said Van der Westhuizen.

We asked Riaan Lombard who their target audience is for the webinar upon which he replied that the audience is multi-industry based and open to anyone with an interest in cloud technologies. "Our webinar will address the single user looking at starting his new venture, but will also speak to the CIO, CTO, and CFO of a multi-geographic organization. We believe that the webinar will not only promote cloud computing as a solution to modern day problems, but will also provide guidance towards new cloud, hybrid-cloud, and migration matters".
