As I write this, I am so grateful to whoever invented fans and electricity. I love the beauty of summers here - the flowers, the blue sky, the greenery, the long days. But I definitely need a fan to help me with low blood pressure and summer headaches. Fans are heroes to the summer damsel in distress that I am??.
While I hide inside before a fan ???, I want to celebrate of the blue sky outside - yes, life is made up of contrasts. So here's an embodiment exercise I want to share.
It is adapted from the book Radiance Sutras by Lorin Roche. The book is a poetic translation inspired an ancient Indian text Vijnana Bhairava Tantra and contains embodiment exercises and meditations for every moment - when dancing, when tired, when just sitting....
I love browsing through the book and reading the poems here and there and trying exercises casually. Many thanks to Jenna Ward for recommending it. Here it is...

That was it. I like this exercise for fun - it's kind of like an excuse to stare at the sky and zone out for a few moments.
If you try it, tell me how you experienced it.
