I was 15 when I first put on my headscarf, I found it liberating and empowering........ Now let me tell you first that I love the UK as the people here allow me to practice my religion freely. 8 年Agreed Ayesha. I don't understand why the "oppression" mongered by the fashion industry, that causes so many tangible social and medical evils; such as "Anorexia Nervosa" and the bias towards "fair complexion" or white skin tone, a certain slim body type; height; and "objectifying" etc etc; is never brought for debate in France, as damaging to Secular social values and "their" way of living? What is the real truth? Why are the Feminist so quiet on the matter of burkini. So, maybe, I don't like to flaunt my body on the beach. Can you force me to do so? Where are my fundament rights?? France?
