Easy Aerial Albatross Conducts Crowd Surveillance at The Town 2023 in Brazil
In September, at The Town 2023 festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Easy Aerial’s tethered Albatross drone, implemented by our Brazilian partner, ?GUEN , rose above the crowd to keep festival goers safe. With integrated EO/IR capabilities the Albatross takes careful patrol of a large crowd through AI processing and tracking in addition to offering detection, recognition, and identification features across varying distances. The tethered Albatross sUAS provides perpetual flight-time which enables extended hours of surveillance. This configuration is ideal for monitoring large crowds for long periods of time from a bird’s eye view of up to 300 ft. The Albatross tethered drone is also equipped to follow a moving vehicle up to 25 mph, allowing for more ground coverage and deployment of the drone at any on-site location with ease. The lightweight hexacopter operates in all weather conditions, so rain or shine, the event is a go!
Utilizing AI to Perform Tracking in Real-Time
Easy Aerial uses integrated AI technology to enhance the capabilities of their sUAS suite for tasks like traffic management, maritime surveillance, and military land operations. These drones use a combination of advanced EO/IR cameras and real-time AI analytics to effectively reduce the cognitive load on operators by boosting target recognition, particularly in crowd and perimeter surveillance.
