Releasing the Sparrow
In February, our newest UAV, Sparrow, had been officially unveiled. The first of it’s kind tactical Group 1 sUAS Drone-in-a-Rucksack is the latest in Easy Aerial’s drone technology. The Sparrow drone is small in size, and folds into a capsule which fits with payloads in a lightweight carry. This supports continuous ISR, VHF/UHF, comms relay, and additional operational needs. Available in both Free-fly and Tethered versions.
Cleared for Take Off!
In March we took to the skies to demonstrate the power of our tethered sUAS, equipped with Next Vision’s Raptor EO/IR payload and power by the Easy Compact Tethered System (ECTS) portable ground station alongside our brand new Sparrow drone at ADS inc.'s UAS Technical Exchange & Field Demo at Xelevate near DC. We also took flight at Special Air Warfare Symposium (SAWS) at Fort Walton Beach.
Integrating Radars
In April, we continued our efforts to grow the capabilities of our tethered drone solutions and completed a robust integration of Echodyne’s state-of-the-art radar technology. This special payload integration has enhanced our tethered drone capabilities in perimeter security, border patrol, counter UAV detection, public safety, and military applications. The advanced radar technology has enabled Easy Aerial tethered drones to detect and track moving targets with high accuracy and provide real-time situational awareness.

Raptor sUAS Captures Rare Humpback Whale Sighting
Kudos to our partners EdgeROV on their deployment activities with the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS) and Reefworks in August. Utilizing Easy Aerial's Raptor drone, powered by the ECTS ground station, this mission set to revolutionize marine biology research and monitoring.
A routine mission encountered an unexpected discovery of marine life behaviors when a dancing humpback whale and her calf were spotted. The results of this deployment underscores the effectiveness of the Raptor sUAS during extended flight durations. This effort made possible in collaboration with our partners EdgeRov, and AIMS/Reefworks, showcases how cutting-edge technology and scientific collaboration can reshape our understanding of the natural world.
Easy Aerial Albatross Conducts Crowd Surveillance at The Town 2023 in Brazil
In September, at The Town 2023 festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Easy Aerial’s tethered ?drone, implemented by our Brazilian partner, ?GUEN, rose above the crowd to keep festival goers safe. With integrated EO/IR capabilities the Albatross takes careful patrol of a large crowd through AI processing and tracking in addition to offering detection, recognition, and identification features across varying distances. The tethered sUAS provides perpetual flight-time which enables extended hours of surveillance. This configuration is ideal for monitoring large crowds for long periods of time from a bird’s eye view of up to 300 ft. The tethered drone is also equipped to follow a moving vehicle up to 25 mph, allowing for more ground coverage and deployment of the drone at any on-site location with ease. The lightweight hexacopter operates in all weather conditions, so rain or shine, the event is a go!
Easy Aerial Demonstrates EVG90 Tethered Capabilities at the Marine Corps 29 Palms
In October, at the Marine Corps 29 Palms base, Easy Aerial’s tethered EVG90 system took to the skies providing a live demonstration for our troops. Easy Aerial is proud to have been a part of this special demonstration which specifically highlighted companies pre-approved for federal programs by being a part of the DIU’s Blue sUAS program. With integrated EO/IR capabilities the demo showcased how the tethered EGV90 system enhances situational awareness through AI processing and tracking in addition to offering detection, recognition, and identification features across varying distances. The tethered Albatross sUAS in tandem with the EGV90 mobile ground unit provides perpetual flight-time which enables extended hours of surveillance. This configuration is ideal for monitoring hostile environments for long periods of time supporting zero RF footprint thanks to direct data and power for over 300 ft. The tethered sUAS system is designed to withstand all weather conditions and is mobile and can be operated on the move, allowing for more ground coverage and deployment of the drone at any on-site location with ease.
