An homage to the partnership
?EastWest Ageas (EWA), formerly Troo, started its life insurance operations in the Philippines in 2015. We ranked 34th in our first year and reached the 12th spot by the end of 2022. Now, we aim to grow even ?further in the industry by leveraging our strong corporate culture, as well as a range of customer-centric business transformations.
?And the first transformation was the brand itself.
?“We needed a name that captures our ambitions to grow and serve more Filipinos so they can have a better tomorrow while also reinforcing our story to the public,” Joub Miradora , Chief Customer Officer shares. And the story was the partnership between EastWest Bank, one of the country’s fastest-rising banks with 30 years of local experience, and Ageas, the Belgium based global insurance company with 200 years of insurance expertise.
?This led to our rebranding to EastWest Ageas.
