The global profile of London International Shipping Week was raised significantly in China this week as #LISW25 Commercial and Operations Director Andy Snell played a leading role in the Opening Ceremony of Pudong International Shipping Week and spoke at the Chinese Shipping Association of London event in Shanghai.
Over 300 shipowners, port leaders, Government officials and maritime executives at Pudong International Shipping Week saw Andy take the stage, joining key figures from Marintec China, Posidonia Shipping, Nor-Shipping, and Hong Kong Maritime Week to underline the importance of global collaboration and strengthening ties across the maritime world.
Andy also had the honour of closing the Chinese Shipping Association of London event where he highlighted LISW25 and underlined the importance of fostering global collaboration and shared innovation within the maritime sector. ?
Both the Chinese Shipping Association of London and the Pudong Shipping Bureau declared a determination to send a strong Chinese delegation to London International Shipping Week in September 2025.
