Eastern Heart, Western Mind.

Eastern Heart, Western Mind.

I was born in Beirut, Lebanon, where the scent of jasmine and the echoes of oud melodies cradle life’s joys and sorrows. In my heart reside the warmth of hospitality, the beauty of connection, the laughter shared in bustling gatherings, and a profound love for community and humanity. Life in the East, with its rich traditions and boundless compassion, taught me to embrace people wholeheartedly and to savor the small, vibrant moments of existence.

Yet, starting at the tender age of ten, my journey took me westward—to England, Canada, and the United States. The West shaped my mind with its rigor and discipline, where principles like integrity, equality, and individual freedom took root in my being. It gave me a framework of logic, an appreciation for structured thought, and a commitment to values that seek progress and fairness.

I live at the intersection of these two universes. At times, they clash: the unrelenting pragmatism of the West can feel cold to my Eastern heart, while the unfiltered emotionality of the East may seem unbridled to my Western mind. But more often, they harmonize. This duality gifts me perspectives that others may not see, a balance between reason and empathy, and a strength that comes from embracing contradiction.

It is not always easy. Some days, I am inspired by this blend; other days, I wrestle with its complexity. Still, I would not trade it for anything. For it is here, at this crossroads of tradition and innovation, of heart and mind, that I find my purpose: to bring out the best from both worlds. I dedicate my life to forging connections, building bridges, and unleashing the beauty and wisdom of these two realities in service to the world around me.

This is my compass, my passion, and my gift—a life lived at the confluence of East and West.
