The Easter Story: A Blueprint for Living a Life of Meaning and Purpose

The Easter story is one of death and resurrection, a powerful reminder of the cyclical nature of life and the possibility of transformation. In this story, Jesus, God, the Universe, teaches us how to live through his teachings of love, waiting, and service.

The Power of Energy

The power of energy is at the heart of the Easter story, with light and dark energy combining to create something out of nothing. This power is present within all of us, but it requires us to be fully present and aware in the moment to tap into it.

Love

One of Jesus' teachings is to love God with all our heart, mind, and soul, and love our neighbor as ourselves. This love comes from a deep understanding of who we truly are; no-thing, but the Universe itself. It is through this understanding that we can live happy lives full of meaning and purpose.

Waiting and Listening

Another teaching of Jesus is to wait and listen. Our ego shadow is constantly telling us to hurry up and get busy, but our soul is telling us to be still and listen. By quieting our minds through meditation, we can learn to listen for the still voice within us and let it guide us.

Service

Finally, Jesus teaches us to serve others with love and kindness, without any expectation of reward. Serving others in this way helps us overcome our ego shadow and connect with our true selves. We must serve from the heart, with a deep feeling of gratitude for the opportunity to make someone else's life a little bit better.

Personal Story

I know firsthand the transformative power of the Easter story. In November 2021, I listened to my heart and traveled to Nairobi, Kenya, to deliver a cell phone to a man named Abba Henry, who was living in the Kakuma refugee camp along with other vulnerable refugees, many of whom are LGBTQ Africans forced to leave their homes to save their lives. In some African countries, it is even legal to kill your own children for coming out as gay.

As I spent time with Abba Henry and the other refugees, I discovered a source of living water - the energy of unconditional love that Jesus was teaching us about in the Easter story. I was humbled by the resilience and strength of these individuals, who had been forced to flee their homes and leave behind everything they knew. And yet, despite their hardships, they were filled with a sense of joy and gratitude that I had never experienced before.

Call to Action

As we celebrate the Easter story, let us remember the power of serving others with love and kindness, and the transformative impact it can have on our lives. By supporting the Diamond Mine Academy, a non-profit organization working to save vulnerable marginalized communities like those living in the Kakuma refugee camp, we can honor these teachings and create positive change in the world.
