EASTER EGGS-TRAVAGANZA

It is Thursday evening, and tomorrow is Good Friday. But before I shut my computer off and put my phone on silence, I wanted to share a few thoughts.
I love Easter. Mostly because, statistically, the weather warms up after this fantastic holiday. So, I can’t wait!
Easter is an egg-citing time of year when bunnies lay eggs, chocolate becomes a food group, and people paint hard-boiled eggs as if they're auditioning for an avant-garde art exhibition.
Forget Picasso, forget Van Gogh – the true artists emerge during Easter, armed with nothing but a palette of pastel dyes and a dozen eggs. From simple stripes to intricate designs that could rival a Renaissance masterpiece, the humble Easter egg becomes a canvas for creativity. Just remember, it's all fun and games until someone drops an egg and unleashes a technicolour explosion on the living room carpet ??

But let's not overlook the real star of the show: chocolate. Easter is the one time of year when it's perfectly acceptable to wake up to a basket filled with enough chocolate to induce a sugar coma. It's a time-honoured tradition to devour your body weight in cocoa goodness and then swear you'll never touch the stuff again... until next Easter rolls around.
Of course, no Easter celebration would be complete without the infamous egg hunt. It's a cutthroat competition where children transform into pint-sized ninjas, armed with baskets and a strategic game plan. The backyard becomes a battleground, with eggs hidden in the most devious of places – under bushes, behind trees, and even in the cat's favourite hiding spot.
But above all, Easter is the time to spend with your loved ones. And when the chocolate is eaten, and all the coloured eggs are cracked after the ‘finding the strongest egg’ game is completed and the champion is crowned, cuddling on the sofa is my ultimate high!
Happy Easter, everyone! ??
