The first line is a famous line from the poem "The Ballad of East and West" by Rudyard Kipling.
I believe that there is no fundamental difference between the East and the West. We are all humans and the racial distinction is artificial and man-made. It's not a fundamental law of nature.

I like this musical meeting very much .. as for example the Sitar Concerto of Pandit Ravi Shankar and London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Zubin Mehta .. from a record -?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZoUA5uSnoHg (I had experienced their rehearsal sessions at the Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata in 1985)
