Easily find your favourite Office files with My Content
Did you know that you can mark your docs as favourites in the Microsoft 365 app (or on Office.com) and never need to trawl through your recently opened items again?
Using My Content, you can quickly find files that you’ve worked on, but what if you’ve worked on a lot of files? ?That file that you continuously go back to can become lost in an endless stream of recently opened items if find yourself not needing it for a bit. The solution is to mark your file as a favourite and navigate to the 'Favourites' option in 'My content' to retrieve it anytime it disappears off your radar. Thereby pushing it back into your recently opened items.
To mark an item as a favourite, navigate to https://www.office.com/
Choose a file, select the ellipsis and then mark it as a favourite.
Another great thing about this: If you mark any Office document as a favourite in the Microsoft 365 portal, it becomes pinned in its corresponding application.
By managing your favourite files in the Microsoft 365 app, you can ensure that you can always find your Word docs, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint slides in their applications. It also works the other way around and pinning a file in an Office application will mark it as a favourite in Microsoft 365.
