Easily create your own Copilot from Copilot Studio using Copilot prompt box
Copilot studio UI is revamped, the new Copilot studio looks like as shown in the below Fig. It offers a new Prompt box, describe your copilot to create it.
You can create Copilot using Prompt in 2 ways, either give a prompt describing your copilot in the Prompt box in home page or navigate to the Create button on the left navigation and click on New Copilot as shown in Fig 1.2
In this article I tried building a Power Platform Learning helper assistant using the Prompt conversation. Want to see how ?
Find the below prompt conversation snippet with Copilot.
Hi, I’m here to help you build a custom copilot. In a few sentences, how will your copilot assist your users?
You said: Hi, I want to build a Microsoft Learn helper assistant. This assistant will help users get the information about Power Platform from Microsoft learn documentation. This assistant will only answer queries related to Power Platform and it's integration services.
Bot said: Your copilot will be a Microsoft Learn helper assistant focused on providing information about Power Platform and its integration services from Microsoft Learn documentation. It will only answer queries related to Power Platform. Does that cover the description accurately?
You said: Yes
Bot said: Great! Do you have any instructions for how your copilot should assist, for example a specific tone?
You said: The tone should be, friendly, helpful, playful in a professional manner
Bot said: Understood, your copilot will have a friendly, helpful, and playful tone while maintaining a professional manner. Where should the copilot find important information? Provide any publicly accessible websites that your copilot will need.

Bot said: Thank you for providing the data source. Is there anything the copilot shouldn’t help with or talk about? Any blocked topics?
You said: This assistant should not talk about any other Microsoft technology or services other than Power Platform.
Bot said: Got it, your copilot will focus solely on Power Platform and won’t provide information on any other Microsoft technology or services. Perfect, you’re all set to test out your new copilot! Or feel free to make any more adjustments.
You said: I’m done
Once you hit, I'm done, you can no longer edit the configurations. A test Copilot assistant will be created. Here you can test if your Copilot is working as per the instructions provided or not. If the Copilot is working as per your expectations then hit Create button on the top as shown in the Fig 1.3
The copilot will be created for you. You can find the name and description auto generated by Copilot based on the instructions we provided while creating. The knowledge is pre filled with the source which you provided. You can edit all these configurations to make your Copilot more enterprise ready.
Manage authentication for the private websites if you are fetching data from private websites. Then Publish your Copilot and deploy to any of the channels like Teams or other channels available in the Studio.
In just few simple steps, your Copilot is instantly ready.
Hope to see you all building your own custom copilots on some interesting enterprise use cases. You can try building copilots using copilot studio here, aka.ms/TryCopilotStudio
