The Easiest Way to Win With a Woman

Let's face it... the dating world has changed a lot in the last 20+ years.?
For men it went from asking a girl on a date by passing her a note or asking for her number, to sending hundreds of messages on the dating apps that foster no response, because you're competing with all the 6'2" bros with biceps out there.? And then there's the "Me To" movement and the shift towards gender-equality that has you guessing if you should even call a woman, because it might be too forward.?
For women it went from guys who take the initiative and ask us out on a date, to filtering through all the weirdos on the dating apps... hoping to meet a guy who is normal, then deciding that it's easier to just be single.?
I'm Megan Wessels and in addition to being single myself, I've interviewed hundreds of intelligent, single women over 40 who are looking for a great guy.? I've listened to their struggles, and have been on many dates where it seems like there's a disconnect.
For the men out there who were raised to be the provider and open car doors for women... it's a very confusing time.
I'm starting this newsletter to help clear up this confusion so you can better understand how to connect with women.? Every week I'll break down another strategy for you, so you can crush it in the dating world too.
The Easiest Way to Win With A Woman
Ask her questions, listen and respond.?
It sounds so simple, but I have been on several dates where I asked all the questions and it doesn't feel good. I hear the same thing from other women too.
If there's a woman you're interested in, asking her questions and then holding the space for her to share her answers, is a surefire way to build a connection.? This shows women that you're interested in them and it creates a sense of safety with you.?
Early on it can be tempting to want to talk about yourself... to share what you're proud of so she can see you as someone who's accomplished (a provider).? I promise you, if she's the right girl, there will be plenty of time for that.? She will actually see you as more interesting because you're asking her questions.
Today, women value a sense of emotional safety over accomplishment and financial stability from men.? If you can hold space for her to open up and be vulnerable with you... you've already won.?
Share that you'd really like to get to know her more, and then ask one of the questions below. When she answers, respond to her answer before asking another question. It shows that you heard her, it helps the conversation flow so it doesn't feel like an interview, and it will begin to build a sense of safety between you. You'll also learn some pretty cool things that will help you determine if you want to spend more time with her.
Here's a few questions to ask once you get her number...
Do you mind if I ask you some fun questions? I think it would be a great way for us to get to know each other.
