Have you ever failed? ??
?????? ??What a dumb question, right? ??
We have all failed at one point in our life. ??
But it doesn’t stop there, because what happens after we fail is even more important. ??
Sometimes we fail and our brain tells us that we aren’t good enough, so we decide to quit trying. ?
Sometimes we fail but we’re so driven and committed to doing something, that no matter what happens, we’re 100% sure we’ll find the answer.
So what’s the difference? ??
Basically our desire to achieve a certain goal or not. ??
Imagine you are starting to learn tennis. You start learning and you feel amazing with all the new skills and techniques that you learned after the first couple of days. ??
But then what happens? ??
Well, eventually things will start to seem harder. You’re not advancing as quickly and you feel like you’ve hit a plateau. ??
Here’s the problem. At this point, some people decide to quit. They feel like this sport is not for them. ??
On the other hand, we have people who continue to learn. They see that there’s no progress but guess what? They won’t let a plateau stop them from getting better. ???
Do you remember any time when you pursued one of your goals even if it didn’t seem like you were making any progress? ??
That’s exactly the behavior that most winners have. They don’t quit because they KNOW that they can find an answer, but it takes some time and effort. ??
If it would be easy, everyone would do it. ??
We always want more, but instant gratification has made us lose our patience. Without patience, we can’t become a winner. Sure, we might have some instant wins but a successful life, as counterintuitive as it may seem, is a life full of failures. ?
It’s not about how many times we fall, but about how many times we get up. ??
If you never quit, you can never lose. Sure, sometimes we must be intelligent and recognize when something is not exactly for us, but that is very rare. ??
Usually, the only limitation is our mind. Anyone can become healthy, wealthy and wise, isn’t that right? However, not everyone will be motivated enough to do it because it takes dedication and a no-quitting attitude. ??
