Earthly Gift. Heavenly Impact.

Take Heart’s theme this Christmas is that even our meager earthly gifts can have a heavenly impact. Any time, gifts, and encouragement we give to our persecuted siblings in Christ directly bless the heart of our King. What if we lived every day in light of this truth??
Would we more easily offer smiles, hugs, and encouragement as we go about our ordinary days? Would we more quickly notice the suffering and vulnerability of our co-workers or friends? Would we more readily pour out our God-given resources to bless strangers whom Jesus loves?
Every gift is an offering to Jesus

Below you’ll read some real stories of people whose lives have been impacted through Take Heart because of the generosity of people like you. May they inspire you to bless the heart of our Savior with your giving this season. Names have been changed for safety purposes.
Talida's Story
Talida’s husband cannot work due to an injury received from a car accident. Before Take Heart, she was at a loss for how to provide for her family, which includes four children who are in school. Take Heart arranged for Talida to complete training in sewing and detailing work, and then a sewing machine was purchased for her. Now she is financially independent, providing for her family’s daily needs.
David's Story
David suffers from Mediterranean anemia. He receives a blood transfusion every 15 days. Last year, he was overjoyed to receive a Christmas present from Take Heart. Though David has already gone through much pain in his short life, he holds on to the sweet moments where he can clearly see God’s provision and care. Help us distribute Christmas gifts to David and his sisters again this year!
Yusha's Story
Yusha is a man who loves God and others well. He does not let his intellectual disability prevent him from sharing his contagious joy with others. Last year, Take Heart enabled him to dress up as Santa Clause for a community-wide celebration.
Rita's Story
Rita and her seven family members suffer from severe poverty. Last year, Take Heart bought a cow for the family. Now, Mariam and her family are able to gain an income from the milk that they sell in the market.
