Earth Matters: My weekly scoop - 22

They say time flies when you are having fun and the first six months of 2024 have certainly passed in a flash and so much has happened.?In this edition of Earth Matters I would like to take a look back at all of the progress we’ve made together and celebrate all of the achievements. This period has been filled with growth, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to our mission. It has also been a very special time for me personally as in April 2024 I welcomed my baby girl into the world and took on my greatest role to date as a mother. It has been a wonderful journey so far and also a balancing act I am working on each day as I look to combine both my personal and professional aspirations in harmony.

This year for P3 Connect has really been about defining who we are with a strong focus on enhancing our brand and face to the world. Here are some of the key initiatives we have worked on this year:

Revamping Our Website

We recently revamped our website. Recognising the need for a modern, user-friendly platform, we worked on this redesign with a lot of enthusiasm and creativity. The new site is not only visually appealing but also intuitive and easy to navigate. We’ve made it more engaging and informative, ensuring that it reflects our brand and the values we uphold.?

Focusing on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

In line with our mission to make a positive impact, we have intensified our focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These 17 goals, set by the United Nations to be achieved by 2030, have been our guiding light. We’ve woven these goals into the fabric of our business operations, ensuring that every decision we make moves us closer to a more sustainable and equitable world.

?

2030 SDGs Game

One of our most exciting initiatives has been facilitating the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) game. This interactive and educational game is designed to engage individuals and teams in understanding and contributing to global goals. We have been running SDG Games across both the corporate sector and with not-for-profit organisations and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. As we move into the second half of the year we are hoping to spread the games to the younger generation who we believe have the power to make the most impact. The game not only educates but also inspires action, making the SDGs more accessible and achievable for everyone involved. If you are looking for a unique and engaging session for your team building days then why not reach out to us to tailor a session for you. It is a fantastic way to bring your team together, deepen their understanding of the SDGs, and inspire meaningful action towards these crucial global goals.

Events

Networking events In March we had the pleasure of bringing the UNstopping Women: Breaking Barriers series to London during International Women’s Day week in partnership with SDGme, Girl2030, The Coffee Snobs, The Minster Building, and?UN Global Compact Network Nigeria. It was a great event where we got to bring people together to celebrate the power and potential of women to drive change and shape the future.?We are planning more events and watch this space to find out about our next one.

?

Raising the bar

On top of all of the above, we’re partnering with a global organisation to support their internal programme to set new standards for best practice sharing through internal communications and employee engagement.

We also collaborated with a food company in Pakistan on their first sustainability report. Although still a work in progress, this project has been an invaluable learning experience.

Additionally, we led a co-creation workshop with leaders from a marketing company to unlock their organisational culture and foster team collaboration.

We are dedicated to helping organisations navigate change more effectively and become more sustainable through project management excellence, fostering collaboration, and always putting people at the heart of it all.

?

Looking Forward

As we look to the future, I am filled with optimism for what lies ahead. We are committed to helping organisations on their journey from intent to impact. We are looking for our next big projects. For more information on how we can support you, visit our new website: https://www.p3connect.co.uk

Here’s to the next six months and beyond!
