Earth - A Life Machine
The earth is an incredible planet that is not only capable of hosting life, but seems to be a planetary machine that uniquely protects and fosters life.? It has a rotating iron/ nickel core that creates a protective magnetic shield around the planet, and protects our atmosphere.? The land masses are recirculating through a process called plate tectonics and subduction.? But what about that most vital of resources - water?

A recent discovery indicates that there is a vast reservoir of water that exists in a fourth state 400 miles below the surface.? This fourth state of water is bound inside a crystalline structure called ringwoodite.? It is estimated that there may be 3-4 times as much water in this structure as exist in all of earth’s oceans.? Scientists are beginning to see a complex water transport system that circulates water throughout the sky, the oceans and down into the mantle of the earth.? When I became aware of this discovery it sounded like science fiction.? However, it seems to be very real, and once more shows how unique the earth really is!?
