Earth Day Every Day

Dear friends,

Today is a wonderful reminder of the progress that’s been made to protect the environment and address the climate crisis since the first official Earth Day in 1970. We’re indebted to the environmental advocates, scientists, educators, politicians, and champions who came before us and are honored to work alongside all of you to continue these efforts.

And at Greentown Labs, we treat every day like Earth Day.

We exist to catalyze climate solutions through entrepreneurship, partnership, and collaboration. We’re proud to support nearly 200 startups across our incubators in Somerville, MA and Houston, TX that are developing solutions to enable home electrification, capture methane, minimize pesticides in the agriculture industry, make the widely used chemical acrylonitrile sustainable, and so much more.

The path of early-stage climatetech and energy-transition companies—from inception to scaling to full commercialization—is fraught with obstacles and challenges. This is what Greentown’s mission aims to address, and where your financial support becomes critical. We need to get these climatetech solutions into the broader economy as soon as possible, to help accelerate decarbonization and create climatetech jobs.

At Greentown, we provide our startups with lab and office space, machine shops, electronics labs, tool shops, software and business resources, management- and financial-skills training, and connection to a large network of corporate customers, investors, workforce talent, and more.

Your contributions will directly enable our efforts to provide these resources, helping maximize our impact and accelerating the deployment of new climate solutions.
