Earth Day 2022 : Recycle at Present to Save the Future

The very first Earth Day can be traced back to April 22, 1970 and was founded by US Senator Gaylord Nelson, who was an environmentalist by nature. Following an oil spill in Santa Barbara, California in 1969, the need of clean air and water was highlighted on this Earth Day.
Now celebrated worldwide, every year April 2022 marks the anniversary of this groundbreaking environmental movement, reminding us to show gratitude to our planet by practicing Earth-friendly habits. Earth Day is a day of action to amend human behaviour and create changes in the global, national, and local policies that will make a difference for the environment and combat ecological challenges such as pollution, ozone layer depletion, climate change, deforestation, global warming, etc. We might not notice but major ecological concerns are due to our improper habits - irresponsible waste disposal, air/water/land pollution, rapid economic growth and advancing technology. It’s more dire than ever that we respect the only planet we have and take into consideration our impact on the environment.
We all have items lying around our homes or in our closets that we accumulate over our lives — mobile phones, batteries, damaged appliances, discarded cables, redundant electronics, spray cans, toys, wood products, etc. — and they, unfortunately, end up multiplying the size of landfills or pollute water bodies because of our unethical waste disposal customs. Unless we act now, environmental problems will get worse and damage world economies, increase scarcity of resources and impact human and animal health.
There are simple tips you can adopt in your regular life routine to celebrate Earth Day everyday, which will collectively have a positive impact on the environment:
