Earning a PhD in Kenya –– a Liability

Graduates in Kenya who spend significant time pursuing their degrees are finding employment opportunities to be non-existent. They are forced to do odd jobs to earn a living. Now, with the COVID-19 pandemic that has crippled the world, having a PhD also does not seem to carry a lot of value.
CES Kenya grads are experiencing the same as they too seek to begin their careers after university and college studies. The following article shares the reality that young people have to hide their titles for fear of being deemed "overqualified."
