This is how we define investment horizons:

Less than 3 years: Speculation/Trading
3-5 years: Short-Term Investment
5-15 years: Medium-Term Investment
15 years above: Long-Term Investment

Look at the wealth of your family or of any individual around you...in most of the cases, more than 90% of the total wealth would be concentrated in the property (or set of properties) which they are holding for more than 15 years, be it their own house, stocks, office, factory or any other asset in real estate/stocks.

WEALTH CREATION is possible only in long-term investments.
