Earned Value (EV) is a project management technique to evaluate project performance and objectively measure progress. This technique links the completed work scope, the time spent, and the costs incurred, providing an integrated system to measure the project's actual progress compared to the planned progress. It enables a precise assessment of schedule and financial variances.

Key Components of Earned Value:
? 1.?Earned Value (EV): Represents the monetary value of the work completed up to the measurement point, according to the original plan.
? 2.?Actual Cost (AC): The total cost incurred on the completed work up to the current point.
? 3.?Planned Value (PV): The value that should have been completed at this stage of the project according to the original timeline.

Main Indicators Used:
? ?Schedule Variance (SV): Measures the difference between the earned value and the planned value. A negative value indicates the project is behind schedule.
SV = EV - PV
? ?Cost Variance (CV): Measures the difference between the earned value and the actual cost. A negative value indicates the project has exceeded the budget.
