Early Detection Can Save Your Life

One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States. When detected in its early stages, the five-year survival rate for breast cancer is more than 95 percent.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This month serves as a good reminder to talk to your doctor about regular mammograms and breast cancer screenings – and also encourage a friend or family member to get checked. 

Again this year, we’ve lit the Nationwide building pink for the month of October in support of this important cause -- to build awareness and encourage the importance of regular screenings.
