Each business is different.
There is a common saying that each person's head is a world unto itself, reflecting the fact that each individual has their own unique way of thinking, relating to others, and living their life. Each individual represents a unique entity. The same can be said of countries and the companies that operate within each country.
In the course of my work, I interact with distributors from various countries in Latin America. I can attest that each of them has a distinct worldview.
The business culture of each distributor varies. From the time it takes them to answer an email to the way they place orders. There are instances where the distributor has a director/CEO who is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including customer and supplier relations, yet lacks the resources to meet their obligations. Conversely, there are also distributors with distinct departments that operate independently of one another. The possibilities are limitless.
It′s crucial to have a high level of patience. It is essential to gain a thorough understanding of each distributor and their respective markets. It′s crucial to recognize that each distributor has a unique approach to marketing and managing their social networks. It′s important to note that distributors may not always adhere to conventional marketing practices. This is an important consideration to avoid unnecessary frustration.
It is recommended to pay close attention to each distributor's unique approach to social media promotions and provide them with the necessary resources, including images, videos, and other materials, to ensure our product stands out in their respective markets.
In the end, it is about being open to any scenario and understanding that cultures definitely impact the behavior of human beings and their activities, and business is no exception.
