We’re delighted to announce a new strand to our already diverse multi-utilities business – EA Net Zero (EA NZ).

EA NZ has been designed to support the I&C sector adopt low carbon technologies through a portfolio comprising a flexible EV charge point offer, machine learning energy efficiency software, and a specialist network connections service.

“EA Net Zero builds on our nearly two decade long partnership with energy suppliers, property developers and thousands of I&C end users,” said Stewart Love, Managing Director, EA Net Zero.

In addition to EV charge points, EA Net Zero will be driving uptake of AMR DNA – a proven machine learning software suite widely in use in Britain to reduce energy waste and cut carbon footprint in buildings. This AI-informed technology progressively learns what best energy performance looks like.

EA Net Zero’s launch portfolio is completed with in-house nationwide energy network connections expertise, which includes specialist support for embedded generation schemes.

We’re dedicated to being an environmentally responsible business and are constantly evolving with new, sustainable solutions – working with the utmost respect for the environment as we do so. An environmental focus is ingrained within our company culture – from how we operate, to the propositions we offer. It’s a constant topic of conversation amongst our leaders and colleagues. Our vision is to be trusted to meet the needs of our customers in a safe, reliable and sustainable manner and we’ve pledged to decrease our carbon emissions year-on-year. We’ve also got an extensive Group-wide recycling programme in place.

We marked Global Recycling Day this year by showcasing our recycling in action

We recently hit a follower milestone here on LinkedIn: 15,000+ followers!

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank these followers, both new and legacy, for engaging with us and taking an interest in what we have to offer.

We’d also like to thank our customers for trusting us with their utilities metering and infrastructure needs and our colleagues across the Energy Assets Group for all of their hard work – without them, we’d have no LinkedIn content in the first place.

Energy Assets is made up of brilliant people. Each of us is unique, whether in terms of our background, personal characteristics, experience, skills or motivations. And we value our people for the differences they bring to the table. We believe these differences – this diversity – is powerful.

However we recognise that the utlities and construction industry is largely male dominated. In an effort to encourage more women into our profession, help close the skills and visibility gap and further support our own female colleagues, this IWD we announced several new initiatives which you can read about here

Apprenticeships and training programmes are seeing a resurgence in recent years and are growing in popularity across all professional sectors and industries – and for good reason. They’re great for getting your foot in the door for career development in your chosen field and beyond, but they’re also great for career changes.

We’ve been running successful apprenticeships and training programmes at Energy Assets for a number of years now and as part of Scottish Apprentice Week we invited two of our colleagues, including one current and one completed apprentice to tell you a little bit more about their experiences

Environmental focus is a constant topic of conversation within Energy Assets. It’s ingrained in our culture, and we’re dedicated to being an environmentally and socially responsible business that acts with trust, honesty and transparency across the board. In October 2022 we began our inaugural environmentally focused initiative by launching a year-long support programme with the WWF to help them with their planet-wide conservation efforts. To mark this year's World Wildlife Day we also made a donation to The Wildlife Trusts.
