EA Ignite Spring Networking Opportunities

New to EA Ignite, our team will be launching two networking technologies at the spring edition in Nashville on April 23-25. Attendees will now have multiple ways to connect with each other and don't have to rely on scheduled times during the conference day! These new technologies give attendees the opportunities to meet with others outside the session rooms who are looking to connect over similar topics, who might be looking for mentorship, or just want to meet other individuals who hold the same role. In the coming weeks, the team will be releasing more information on how to join these technologies, but for now - here is a sneak peek into what attendees can expect!

Introducing Braindates

Braindates are knowledge-sharing conversations that you book with others to have one-on-one or in small groups on-site in the Braindate Lounge. They’re the best way to brainstorm, solve challenges, share expertise or experiences, while connecting with new (brilliant!) This dedicated space at the event will have Learning Concierges to help attendees navigate and utilize Braindates to make the most out of the experience!

Introducing 1:1 Matchmaking

Hosted inside the mobile app, 1:1 matchmaking is an AI based service that uses the profile attendees put together upon downloading the app to help match you with fellow peers! By opting into matchmaking, users will select categories and their intents for meetings (such as networking, mentorship or recruitment), and the app will suggest other peers that best match your profile based on those pre-selections and conversations you’re looking to have. Once you’ve met a match, start chatting and set up a time and location in the conference to meet! There will be dedicated spaces at the event for 1:1 Matchmaking!

What's the difference between Braindates and 1:1 Matchmaking?

Braindates are stemmed from shared interests or trending topics that the users create, and are meant for meaningful conversations with others either one-on-one or in a group setting. Braindates has a dedicated lounge at the event with Learning Concierges to help.

1:1 Matchmaking is a service within our mobile app that is self-served and based on prepopulated interests and intents within the app. Meet up for 15-minutes to connect with your AI suggested match!
