E2G | The Equity Engineering Group, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has expanded its physical presence across North America with the opening of two new offices in Newport Beach, CA and Katy, TX.

?The two new offices add comprehensive mechanical integrity, asset management, fitness-for-service (FFS), and mechanical engineering expertise to our clients based in the West Coast, South Central, and Gulf Coast regions. As an internationally recognized leader in the refining, petrochemical, and chemical industries, it is important that we grow our capabilities and service offerings to companies located in these important areas across the country.?

The West Coast office is based in Newport Beach, CA and was opened in 2022. Jim McVay, who manages the West Coast office, has over 34 years of experience in metallurgical and corrosion engineering and mechanical integrity programming. The multi-disciplinary West Coast team leverages its vast industry experience to deliver a wide range of high-quality consulting services to help clients improve profitability by managing risk and controlling inspection costs throughout an asset’s lifecycle.

?The Katy, TX office expands E2G’s presence in the Gulf Coast region. Kevin LoCascio, who manages the Katy office, is a senior fixed equipment engineer with more than 15 years of experience working in the oil and gas sector. Since 2002, E2G ’s risk-based inspection (RBI) team has been based in Clear Lake, TX and delivering RBI implementation services to clients across North America. By opening a second Houston-area office, our clients will benefit from a locally based mechanical and structural engineering team in addition to multi-disciplinary collaboration with the RBI team to deliver full asset management capabilities.
