If you're like a lot of Shopify sellers, you may be struggling to get customers from your email list. It's tough to know where to start and what to do to make the most of your email marketing efforts.?
In this post, we'll share 9 tips on how to boost your email conversion rate and get more customers from your email list.
- Email them 1x a week minimum
- Add a popup to your website with an offer (for example, 10% off their order, free shipping, or free gift with purchase)
- Promote your offer on social media to bring more traffic to your website
- Know your numbers - an average open rate is > 20%, and click through rate is 1-3%
- Have an abandoned cart flow with a one-time offer they get after 24 hours (ex. Save 10%)
- Have a new subscriber welcome flow that brings people onto your list, builds trust, then follows up to see if they’ve used your intro offer (in step 2)
- Get organized and set up offers for major holidays (Valentines Day, Christmas, etc) to incentivize purchase
- Don’t be afraid to offer your list something - give them a few different ways to get involved (ex. 4 part ps - from Rachel Pedersen)
- Offer existing customers exclusivity on new products, upsell them after purchase and in a post-purchase email sequence an item that might compliment their order
