If you're interested in data and how it affects decision-making in climate, energy and sustainability, check out these upcoming Data in Power events!
I’ve been running my meetup, Data In Power, virtually since last year and more recently, in person as well. Data In Power is a discussion-based meetup on the dynamics of data and the distribution of decision-making power in climate, energy, and sustainability. I run Data In Power out of an NYC bar and my free videoconferencing account. Notably, for my Climate Week event (https://lu.ma/0fxly9eg), I have approved 100+ RSVPs and counting. I ask two key questions upon sign-up: (1) What aspect of climate, energy, and sustainability are you most interested in? and (2) What do you think is the significance of data and the distribution of decision-making power in climate, energy, and sustainability? Thus far, I have appreciated the depth of responses, many of which were very thoughtful and detailed. Here is my event page where I post upcoming events: lu.ma/derprojectfair. If you're local to NYC, I highly recommend attending in person for the full, curated experience. If this interests you, check out the event descriptions and join the discussion. More to come??
