Dynamics Portals v8.3 install unto Dyn 365 v9.0 instances

A lot of business have taken the natural progresison and upgraded their legacy Adxstudio portals v6.x, v7.x unto Dynamics 365 Portals Community Edition (v8.3). (Colin Vermander, an industry colleague provides good direction on how to successfully perform the job in the link below).

Upgrade Adxstudio Portals v7.x to xRM Portals Community Edition

Other companies haven't had a chance to start using Dynamics 365 Portals Community Edition, but have already upgraded to their Dynamics 365 CE instances to v9.0. These folks are now wondering how they can install Portals since the Powershell package offered by Microsoft is not compatible with v9.0.

You can install the Portal solution files and insert Portal data assets (Website names, Content Pages, Site Settings) by navigating to the Dynamics 365 Administration Center, selecting the target Dynamics 365 instance and finally clicking on the Solutions option.

Once there, select the Portal type you would like to install and voilá... The installer will both add the required Dynamics 365 solutions and the required data to run your portal.
